Alright, Im having fun with this one now. Lots of ideas, however pulling it off to look like something from a water world episode is what I want the thing to

look like; with an old anchiant looking
texture and rustic, faded colors. And I want to paint fish onto the stand. But these fish are going to not look like a Disney world advertisement, but something from an old National Geographic magazine or something like that. So, this should be interesting.
Structurally I think it will be fine with the solid fiberglass ball. Inside the ball will be welded to a
copper pipe that fits through and attaches to the base. I will hopefully fit a ballbearing insert into the top of the pipe, weld that and then put the rod into it that has the steel arrow in it for a weather vane effect. Everything is planned, but not built yet. So, like the concrete, and it ending up too heavy for this venture, one never knows untill the experience is done. This is all new for me, and I am loving every step. Someday I hope to have a big factory where everything is in place;
hooks, wenches, lifts, scafoding, to manuvour heavy artwork. Then the lift on the back of a big truck would be nice too. However, if I get a big place to work and I have commissions for big
sculpture, I should be able to afford to have the pieces shipped or something. The owner can pay! As nice as this little sphere looks as is, it will be en capsuled with chicken wire and fiberglass, and painted.
