Comming Along

I have been busy trying something new with kinetic art. "BEARINGS". Im finially settling with car bearings for my "Eye of the Storm" sculpture for Block Island. It will go up either next week or the next for sure, as I will be leaving for my heavenly home of CO! I sorta hate leaving in such a great time for me here. The weather is beautiful, and Im on a definate roll of creation right now too. I have people interested in me and my artwork as well because I have 2 press releases coming out, that I did not write, but other reporters are writing about me and my artwork. Pretty exciting.
But I did manange to get a show in Pagosa Springs while I am away, so carrying my work across the eastern half of the US will be exciting for me. Life is good. Artwork is even better. I LOVE my plasma cutter. As dangerous as the thing is it is a saving piece of equipment. I need a shop sooooo badly though. Once I get cranking on the sculptures, it takes me an hour and lots of energy to set up everything and be safe with it all out; trying not to trip on cords etc.... I have my show tent set up, so if the wind blows too high I end up taking that down which is a chore as well. I want to be able to just walk into a room and pick up a torch or a welding stick and go at it with my whimsy.
It wears me out trying to set up each day. Maybe if I make enough money this year I can build a REAL garage. Hoepfully soon. No pictures, too tired.
sleep is welcome now.
