When your hard drive gets some kind of a blue screen virus and you did not back your work up!
Oh well. Life goes on. So, Ive been loading drivers and tweeking my computer from something that happened to it that would not allow it to boot up. It was right after I got an email from my sister
on Facebook, and when I went to go there some game came up and wam! things started getting alittle weard. Even though my McAfee caught it, at least I thought it did, it must not have. But also, the last thing I did was click YES to "install updates and shut down" to windows that night as well.
Ive had trouble with Service pack 3 too. On one of my work computers. I had to uninstall it.
Well, I think I will wait a while and get vista after all the hoop la tweeks are finished. However, It may mean I have to get different drivers to programs and things. I run Autocad at work, vers. 2006. And the learning curve for the newest version can run on vista, but there are some memory problems there as well. Also, I would be the only one running the newest Cad. At home I use Adobe Production studio CS2. Which costs quite a bit of money to run out and upgrade as well. I mean software, GOOD STUFF that works, costs soooo much money and they keep upgrading and upgrading. Silicon Valley!! HA!! They should name it silicon Earth by now.
I think once you buy one whole package of any good software you should get a better deal for upgrading. Im just a little guy too. Ive bought some software using my sons student ID, but
only a couple of things. My consceince wont let me cheat that much, but he uses it, soo.
